As Divisional Vice President, Joni Paiva oversees all operations for the Africa, Middle East, India and Oceania markets.
Prior to moving to the region, Joni Paiva worked across six different countries with Nissan and Renault and has a collective experience of over 20 years.
Most recently, Joni Paiva served as President at Nissan Canada where he focused on creating a stronger than ever partnership with dealers across the country, that allowed for collaborative integration of features and practices that put Nissan customers at the forefront. He also increased awareness and education around the company's evolution with Nissan Intelligent Mobility. Under his leadership, the company achieved record sales and market share.
Joni Paiva began his career at Renault as Zone Manager for Mercosur and Chile in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He became General Manager at Renault in France in 1999 and went on to hold several sales and marketing positions within the company in several different locations.
Joni Paiva brings to the region a wealth of international experience and is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. Joni Paiva earned a Master of International Affairs from the Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar, France. He also holds a Certificate of Authentic Leadership from Harvard Business School.
