Dubai, UAE – Furthering its SUV dominance and catering to the growing needs of urban commuters in the region, Nissan has recently announced the arrival of the refreshed 2023 KICKS in the Middle East. First launched in the region in 2017, the Nissan KICKS is reflective of the increasing demand for compact crossovers that combine the space and versatility of an SUV with the ease and accessibility of a sedan.

A highly customizable crossover, the 2023 Nissan KICKS features energetic exterior styling complimented by a unique palette of color options. A refined interior, with enhanced connectivity and a technology boost with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, makes for a safer and more enjoyable driving experience.

Building on its reputation of offering class-leading features and attractive value, the 2023 Nissan KICKS has been enhanced with various aesthetic upgrades to appeal to young and trendy motorists, including a sleek roof-mounted shark fin antenna for a sportier, aerodynamic profile. The distinctive identity of the 2023 Nissan KICKS is furthered by the brand's new insignia that embellishes a number of internal and external components, including the iconic double V-motion grille, flat-bottom steering wheel, and alloy wheels.

Thierry Sabbagh, President, Nissan Saudi Arabia, INFINITI Middle East and Managing Director, Nissan Middle East, said: "With customers residing at the core of our operations, we continue to cater to the unique needs of the region with our wide range of SUVs. The KICKS compact crossover, which serves as the entry point into our exciting SUV line-up, has proven to be an instant hit with young and trendy motorists in search of a stylish, economical, and technologically advanced crossover since its arrival to the Middle East in 2017. The new 2023 model builds on the attributes and features that made its predecessors segment leaders."

The distinctive presence of the 2023 Nissan KICKS is strengthened by an aggressive bumper that is flanked by LED headlights and is complemented by flared fender arches for a muscular appearance. The stylish rear end, which lends the KICKS its instantly recognizable character, features a full-length LED combination light that stretches from side to side and emphasizes the model's wide rear structure.

The stylish and premium interior offers young motorists a sporting flavor with a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel, 6-way driver's seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat and 60/40-split fold-down rear seat. As in previous years, the 2023 KICKS provides ample passenger space throughout the cabin, including best-in-class front seat legroom.

To keep drivers connected and passengers entertained, the 2023 KICKS offers standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ on SV and SL grades. This is accompanied by class-exclusive Bose speakers, that utilize proprietary Bose signal processing to provide "360 degrees of immersive sound." Heightening the experience is a pair of lightweight 2.5-inch Bose UltraNearfield™ neodymium speakers located inside the KICKS' driver's seat headrest.

All 2023 KICKS models come with a standard 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System. The engine is rated at 118 horsepower and 155 Newton Meters of torque, and is paired with a smooth, Xtronic transmission powering the front wheels. Enhancing experiences, the KICKS is equipped with an Integrated Dynamic-Control Module, featuring Active Engine Breaking, Intelligent Trace Control, and Intelligent Ride Control, for increased driving enjoyment at all speeds.
